I was inspired by Kazem Arshi, because I love the way he drips the glaze on his teapots to create an interesting effect. I also really like the contrast between the raw clay and the bright rainbow glazes. Instead of having a large portion of my teapot covered with glaze, I decided to individually drip different colored glazes. I also liked having a clean white porcelain background rather than the red clay (earthenware) background. I felt that the porcelain background would make the blue glazes stand out more. I also wanted each drip to have it's own color, instead of blending all together.
